Univer cheese salad
Ingredients:
200g sliceable cheese not of a particularly strong flavour (e.g. Trappista) in a block, 200g processed ham in a block, 1 fleshy yellow pepper (Hungarian wax pepper), 1 small raw cucumber or a piece of a snake cucumber, 1 apple, 1-2 sweetish pickled cucumber, 60-80g marinaded pepper, 1 tube of Univer XL mayonnaise (220g), 200-300g sour cream, 1/2 tsp of salt, the juice of a quarter of a lemon, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp Univer mild grated horseradish, half a 1/4 tsp ground black pepper and 1 bunch of dill
1. Dice the cheese, the ham, the cored pepper, the raw cucumber and the cored and peeled apple into 1.5cm cubes, cut the sweet pickled cucumber into 1cm cubes and the dripped marinaded pepper into strips. Place and mix all these in a bowl.
2. Mix the mayonnaise with the sour cream (without the separated whey), add salt, lemon juice, powdered sugar and the horseradish to make it piquant, add pepper and finely chopped dill.
3. Pour it onto the prepared ingredients and set aside, covered, for half an hour to let the flavours blend. Serve with hot toast.
